Ben Tagawa adalah calon pembuat film dan putus sekolah film. Dia tinggal di Berkeley bersama pacarnya Miko, yang bekerja untuk festival film Asia-Amerika, meskipun dia meremehkan minat Miko terhadap politik dan komunitas Asia-Amerika.
